BREAKING: DSS ‘Arrests’ a Nigerian pastor based in UK at Lagos airport

According to reports, Apostle Tomi Arayomi, the founder of the RIG Nation and Pioneer Church, UK, has been detained by Department of State Service (DSS) agents.

Around lunchtime, the cleric’s twin brother Tobi Arayomi announced the news on his Instagram account, @tobiarayomi.

Tobi claims that DSS agents detained the clergyman because of allegedly political prophecies he made.

He said, “Hello everybody, I need your help. I just received news that my brother has been detained by the Department of State Services, DSS in Nigeria. He has been arrested for political reasons, my brother and his wife, Tema.

“He just arrived in Lagos and they detained him at the airport. He is politically targeted because some of his prophetic words have troubled the government in Nigeria.”

The priest in issue has been forecasting the results of the elections in Nigeria in 2023.

When The Whistler contacted DSS spokesperson Peter Afunnaya about the arrest, he reportedly suggested that they phone the pastor.

The platform claimed that Afunnaya insisted they contact the pastor directly rather than drawing conclusions based on what a third party told them after it was stated that Tomi’s brother claimed the pastor had been detained by the DSS.

A short while later, Tobi announced their release on Instagram by posting a picture of his brother and his wife.

Tobi stated, “@tomiarayomi and @tahmar.india are out. Thank you all for your prayers.”
