The Abuja Electricity Distribution Company (AEDC) claimed that the irregular electricity supply in the FCT was caused by generation facilities not providing enough power to the firm.

According to the management of AEDC, in a statement released in Abuja, the business was forced to impose load curtailment orders across its franchise in order to manage the situation for grid stability.

”We would like to inform that we are aware of the unstable power supply, experienced in recent days, essentially caused by insufficient power
“We understand that this may cause inconveniences to our customers, and we are doing everything we can, to ensure that the impact of the outage is minimised.

”We appreciate your understanding during this challenging time”, the company said.
Customers of AEDC in the impacted areas received assurances that the company will keep them informed of the development and disseminate any pertinent data as it became available.
