How Davido Escaped Onstage Attack At Lagos Concert (VIDEO)

During his highly-anticipated Timeless concert at Lagos’ Tafawa Balewa Square, Afrobeat sensation David Adeleke, also known as Davido, got into a scuffle with an unruly’fan.

On April 23, 2023, Davido played his current album for the first time in Nigeria at the famed arena, which can accommodate over 50,000 supporters.

A fan unexpectedly stormed the stage and approached Davido in a dangerous manner while he wowed the audience with his performance. However, the quick-thinking singer quickly swung around and almost punched the intruder before security intervened and removed him offstage.

The viral footage of the altercation has gone viral, with many appreciating Davido’s ability to protect himself and handle the situation calmly, while others speculate on the fan’s motivation.

This is the singer’s first public performance of the albulm. He debuted tracks from his new album in Irvine Plaza, New York, before wowing audiences in London. Davido also played two songs from his debut album on ‘The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.’

Despite the sudden interruption, the event held the audience’s attention with electrifying performances and amazing moments.
