I Need Time To Process This Shock – Hakimi’s Wife

Hiba Abouk, the ex-wife of Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) defender Achraf Hakimi, has finally spoken out about her divorce from the Moroccan footballer.

Despite the rape allegation leveled against Hakimi, Abouk claims she remained calm, adding that she needs time to process the shock.

It should be noted that the PSG player was accused of rape in February, which resulted in a divorce.

However, Abouk was taken aback when she filed for half of Hakimi’s property, only for her lawyer to discover that his fortune was in his mother’s name.

Abouk and Hakimi have two children, Amn, three, and Naim, one, after marrying in 2020, two years after meeting in 2018.

“I am fine,” Abouk said to ELLE on Wednesday. There are days like today, and others when you have to know how to take blows, make difficult decisions, and adjust to new surroundings.

“Who could have predicted that, in addition to the usual pain of separation and the grief that the failure of a family project to which I had given my body and soul entails, I would have to face this ignominy?” I needed some time to process the shock.

“When you separate, you restructure your life, but it’s not anything special either: you have to take iron out of the matter,” she added.

“It’s true that having two children is emotionally taxing, but I’m not the first and I won’t be the last.” The main thing is that I can rest assured that I tried and completed everything I needed to do.

“Some decisions cannot be made overnight.” It’s a basis for me not to rush in times of stress.”
