According to SkySports, Deontay Wilder would be willing to face Anthony Joshua in a long-awaited heavyweight matchup in Saudi Arabia this year.

Tyson Fury may possibly face Oleksandr Usyk in an undisputed world title fight on the same mega-card in December, according to sources. The American star has been connected to a major battle against Anthony Joshua in the Middle East at the end of the year.

In October, Wilder destroyed Robert Helenius in the first round to display more of his destructive power. Wilder would enjoy facing Joshua in what is considered to be the division’s two best punchers.

“Deontay has wanted to fight Joshua for a long time and of course is willing to fight him in Saudi Arabia,” Wilder’s manager Shelly Finkel told Sky Sports.

Joshua raised more conjecture regarding his next career move when he announced on social media that he will not return to the ring until December.

Earlier this month, the two-time world champion won a unanimous decision over American Jermaine Franklin at The O2.
