Hajiya Rabi Aminu Dantata, the wife of prominent Nigerian billionaire Alhaji Aminu Dantata, has reportedly died.

According to reports gathered by Naija News on Sunday, Mama Rabi (as she is affectionately known) died yesterday at a hospital in Jiddah, Saudi Arabia.

Mama Rabi was supposed to have suffered from a long sickness. Sanusi Dantata, one of Mama Rabi’s grandchildren, verified the sorrowful news of her departure from mother earth.

“Please pray for our mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, Haj. Rabi, wife of Alh. Aminu Dantata, who died yesterday after a protracted illness!

“May Allah forgive her, accept her good deeds, and grant her the highest rank in Paradise, Ameen!

“Innalillahi Wa Inna Ilaihirrajiuun,” Dantata’s grandchild wrote on Twitter.

Mama Rabi is said to be the biological mother of Tajudeen Dantata, one of Alhaji Aminu Dantata’s popular offspring.

She was the foremost senior statesman’s second wife.
She passed away in her late 70s, leaving behind her husband and six children, Tajjuddeen Dantata, Batulu Dantata, Hafsa Dantata, Jamila Dantata, and Aliya Dantata.
And there will be many more grandchildren.
