Luka Modric, one of Real Madrid’s finest midfielders, has stated that he would like to stay at the club for the rest of his career.

The Croatian professional footballer made the statement in response to rumours that he was interested in joining former teammate Cristiano Ronaldo at the Saudi Arabian club Al-Nassr.

Modric had been linked with a lucrative move to the Saudi Arabian club, where he may reunite with the Portuguese international Ronaldo.

However, Modric has refuted the rumours, emphasising his desire to stay at Real Madrid.

“My desire is to remain at Real Madrid.

“I believe and hope that it will happen.

“The rest are just speculations and assumptions.

“I hope and believe I will stay at Real Madrid for the hundredth time,” Modric told media in a recent interview.

Modric joined Real Madrid from Premier League club Tottenham Hotspur in 2012.
