Omawumi and Yemi Alade reminisce about their new single ‘Love You Well’


Omawumi and Yemi Alade are two of the industry’s biggest female performers, whose music has captured fans and propelled them to the top. The two compelling singers have now collaborated on a new tune.

The collaboration came about through a shared love for African music and a desire to create something that celebrated their passion for the genre. Omawumi released her debut album, Wonder Woman, in 2009 through OMA Records. Meanwhile, Yemi Alade is a Nigerian Afropop singer-songwriter who rose to prominence with her breakthrough single ‘Johnny’ in 2014.
