Tiwa Savage, a popular musician, has revealed evading a security breach at her home, which was widely reported online as a kidnapping attempt.

The brilliant vocalist made the announcement via an Instagram message signed by her management.

The statement reads: “Following recent reports online, we can confirm that on Thursday 13th April 2023 there was a major security breach at the residence of musician Tiwa Savage.

“A number of suspects were caught and are currently being held under investigation at Alagbon Police Station, Ikoyi.

According to several media outlets that published the report earlier and cited self-acclaimed investigative journalist, Kemi Olunloyo, the singer’s new driver was alleged to have provided information about her movement to his co-conspirators, but fortunately for Tiwa Savage, all the people involved in the kidnapping attempt have all been arrested and handed over to the police.
