Chelsea midfielder, Conor Gallagher, is on the verge of leaving the Premier League.
According to football transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano, Gallagher’s time at Stamford Bridge is all but over.
Romano claims new manager, Enzo Maresca, does not see the England international as a good fit for his possession-based tactics.
Gallagher has already turned down the offer to extend his contract with Chelsea by two years.
Romano wrote: “Decision time for Conor Gallagher as Atlético are waiting — while his career at Chelsea looks to be almost over.
“Chelsea offered Gallagher a 2+1 new deal, no longer a deal as they are concerned that in a high possession system under Maresca, he’d only be a squad player.”
