Babatunde Fashola, Minister of Works and Housing, has claimed that the allegations leveled against President-elect Bola Tinubu are “unproven.”

This was expressed by Fashola during an interview with Channels Television on Sunday.

According to him, the outcome of the 2023 presidential election demonstrated that Nigerians were unconcerned about Tinubu’s scandals.

There were concerns raised regarding Tinubu’s educational background, age, family, and source of income in the run-up to the February 25 election.

“Government is not about sainthood,” Fashola stated. It all comes down to efficiency, performance, and delivery.

“You have to understand that we are not searching for saints.

“All of the allegations that were levelled against him have been either unproven or no evidence offered in support of them but they have run along for a while.”
