200-level LASU student died after allegedly being denied by four hospitals

A 200-level student at Lagos State University (LASU) named simply as Israel is said to have died after being refused by four hospitals.

At the time of submitting this report, details of the occurrence were vague, however it was learned that the Business Administration student slumped while playing football.

According to a post made on a LASU Students Facebook page on Monday, April 24, 2023 by one Jesutosin Oloruntosin Oluwatosin, the dead went to play football and ‘fainted’ on the pitch.

Israel was apparently transferred to a general hospital and three additional hospitals, but was turned away and died as a result.
