On June 12, 2023, the Apostolic Covenant Outreach International, ACOI, will conduct a free medical outreach in the Lemode region of Ifo local government area, Ogun State.

The ceremony, which begins at 10 a.m., will take place in the Ibukunoluwa Community Hall in Lemode, Ifo local government area, Ogun State.

The program’s features include Health Talk, Free Medical Care, and Free Drugs.

According to the convener, Mr. Osevbobo Babatunde Henry, the program is available to the general public regardless of religion or ethnic affiliation.

The convener claimed in a statement made available to FrontPage that the initiative, which began in 2021, was created to promote humanity and make the globe a healthier place for all.

The statement reads in part: “The programme is informed by our organisation’s passion to give back to humanity. Though we are a faith-based organisation, we strongly believe that we are all humans first before we become religious. We also discovered that it is only when people are healthy that they can serve God.”

The committee also felt the need to put an end to preventable fatalities that have occurred throughout the years as a result of self-medication and unprofessional health practices.

The company provided program information, stating that lectures will be presented by a medical doctor and a nurse.

The titles of the talks, according to the group, are Dangers of Self-Medication – Way Forward and Menopause – A Woman’s World.

The organisation stated that those who could not afford to obtain tests and medications for their ailments would be helped with free tests and available medications.

The organisation indicated that, while it was exclusively responsible for the program’s sponsorship, it would be grateful for the help of well-meaning Nigerians.

The group expressed satisfaction with its accomplishments thus far, stating that many lives had been positively impacted.
