On Sunday morning, Israel Adesanya reclaimed the UFC middleweight title from Alex Pereira in the main event of UFC 287 at the FTX Arena in Miami, Florida.

Pereira was initially on offensive when he was knocked out.

With Adesanya backed up against the cage, Pereira was unloading body hooks and a knee to the ribs when the challenger fired a right hook out of nowhere!!

It froze Pereira, much like the end of the first round in their previous battle, but there was no buzzer to save Pereira this time; the next punch felled him, and he was out cold after the fist.

Adesanya then celebrated by replicating the act of firing arrows at his opponent.

In their first bout, a kickboxing match, Adesanya was defeated on points by Pereira. Adesanya was leading their rematch in kickboxing until he was knocked out. In their first MMA fight in November, Adesanya was once again on top, but he was defeated in the final round.

After seven years and four fights, ‘The Last Stylebender’ finally wins over Pereira, and in spectacular way.
