Ilaro Poly student arrested with illicit drugs

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, apprehended Isoyo Iveren Susan, a 22-year-old HND 1 female student at Federal Polytechnic, Ilaro, Ogun state.

Susan was caught for trading in illegal substances on Saturday, April 15th, outside the institution’s 2nd Gate.

She was found with 1,100ML of codeine-based cough medication and 283grams of cannabis.

In the same line, NDLEA agents apprehended a pregnant woman, Rabetu Abdulrasak, 24, and a cripple, Shehu Adams, in Agbede, Etsako West LGA, Edo state.

On Saturday, April 15th, they were found with almost 14 kg of various illicit narcotics, including cannabis, methamphetamine, tramadol, and swinol.

On Friday 14th April, NDLEA agents in Lagos apprehended two suspects: Nonso Peter, 21, and Bright Chibike, 23, with 43.4kg of cannabis in the Ile-Epo, Abule Egba region of the state.
