Alhaji Danbalki Kwamanda of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kano has rated Senator Barau Jibrin as the finest candidate for 10th Senate President.

Mr Kwamanda made the announcement at a news conference in Kano on Saturday.

The Kano APC chieftain indicated that the senator from Kano North Senatorial District was the best candidate for the post.

He stated that the ranking senator from Kano should be considered for the position of Senate President of the 10th National Assembly.

Mr Kwamanda, a close ally of President Muhammadu Buhari, argued that Senator Jibrin is the best qualified of the Senate president contenders.

“Jibrin, who is humble, possesses the leadership qualities and experiences needed to rudder the Senate ship.” I urge Senators and APC stakeholders to give Jibrin serious consideration for the seat.

“Jibrin belongs to everyone in the Senate, and I have no doubt that he would be considered,” he said.

Senator Jibrin, according to Mr Kwamanda, is a vibrant politician, and Nigeria would prosper under his leadership.

He stated that the party’s zoning ideas bear accountability.
