Emeka Beke, the Rivers State Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, has been dismissed by the state executive council. (SEC).
Beke was expelled from the party for allegedly engaging in anti-party actions and misappropriating funds.
The SEC accused the state leader of the party and former Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, of mobilizing members of the APC in the state to vote for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, in the February 28 elections at a press conference in Port Harcourt, the state capital, on Wednesday.

Chikere has asked the APC’s national chairman, Abdullahi Adamu, to convene a panel to examine the party’s financial activities of the party in Rivers State.
