Chief Kingsley Ogwu has said that the Dr Greg Oputa disobeyed court ruling by installing himself as the Obi of Aboh Kingdom even as three out of the four ruling houses had secured court injunction restraining the installation of a new Aboh Kingdom.
He lamented that the whole kingdom is very aggrieved over the perceived self imposition of Dr Greg Oputa as the Obi of Aboh.
He said agitation and protests will continue until the normal process is followed.
He said there are laid down rules and guidelines in the selection of the Obiship.
He accused Dr Greg Oputa of breaching the court ruling on the Obiship by proclaiming himself as the Obi of Aboh.
He said the people of the kingdom are seaking for inclusiveness and obedience to the rule of law.
He also accused Dr Greg Oputa of abducting a 101 year elderly Prince Thomas Ugua, the Oduah of Aboh at night in it’s desperate bid to become the Obi of Aboh Kingdom.
He however advised the people of the kingdom to maintain peace and tranquility as efforts are on to reverse the situation.
