The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has set Saturday, April 15, 2023, as date for all outstanding Governorship, National, and State Houses of Assembly supplementary elections.
The Chief Press Secretary to INEC Chairman, Mr. Rotimi Oyekanmi, confirmed this on Monday.
In his words: “As a result of today’s meeting, the Independent National Electoral Commission has decided that all outstanding governorship, National, and State Assembly supplementary elections will take place on Saturday, April 15, 2023.
“A detailed official statement will follow shortly.”
