Out-of-favour Chelsea striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang ‘liked’ an Instagram photo confirming the sacking of manager Graham Potter.
Chelsea fired Potter on Sunday night.
His dismissal comes after less than seven months in charge, following a disastrous run of results that has left the Blues in 11th place in the Premier League standings.
During Potter’s brief tenure as Chelsea manager, he shut out Aubameyang, who has not played for the club since February.
Aubameyang was last seen out in Barcelona, celebrating the Catalan club’s victory over Real Madrid two weeks ago.
The 33-year-old only joined Chelsea from Barcelona last summer, but he appears to be on his way out of the Premier League giants at the conclusion of the season.
The former Arsenal captain appeared to enjoy Potter’s dismissal, liking the Instagram image that confirmed his departure.
