It was quite a sight during the premiere of the film Gangs of Lagos, which took place on Thursday, April 6, 2023, as several Nollywood stars including as Banky W, Tobi Bakre, Funke Akindele, and others dressed up in various catchy local attires with a gangster owambe (party) atmosphere.
The look was Saturday owambe with gangster vibes, and Nollywood celebs didn’t disappoint their fans by bringing fire to the red carpet.
It was a fashion show stopper, from Tobi Bakre’s all-black suit to Funke Akindele’s pink wavey headgear.
On Friday, April 7, 2023, the new film will be released in theaters and on Prime Video.
