‘I’ll rebuild Nigeria via tech education’

Chairman of Prime Innovation Institute of Technology (PIIT), Pst. Joe Ebinum, has reaffirmed commitment to rebuild the economy through technology.

Speaking at PIIT’s 15th anniversary, Ebinum, reiterating importance of technical education, noted the institute would nurture tech talents by driving innovation in Nigeria.

He said: “Since inception, we have been dedicated to empowering individuals and organisations with skills and knowledge to thrive in the ever-evolving tech landscape.

“By this, we offer data analysis, financial intelligence with Microsoft Excel, cyber security, artificial intelligence, web development, and others.

“In 15 years, we have produced thousands of graduates who make contributions to Nigeria’s digital economy.

“We believe in the transformative power of technology and education. Our mission is to create a brighter future by equipping students with tools to lead and innovate.”

Centre Manager, Olusegun Adegbite, said: “We have engaged in community projects, including free tech training, scholarships, and partnerships with schools and churches. These reflect PIIT’s commitment to give back to society and contribute to tech growth.

“We will equip students with skills and knowledge to contribute to Nigeria’s growth.”

“We are excited about future of technology as we introduce programmes and collaborate with industry leaders to create opportunities for students by becoming a hub of innovation and a catalyst for positive change in the tech sector.”
