The Oba in Council has named Prince Lukman Adelodu Gbadegesin Agunloye as the next Kabiyesi elect and Alaafin of Oyo town, one year after the death of Oba Lamidi Adeyemi.
Prince Lukman Adelodu Gbadegesin Agunloye worked as Chief Olusegun Obasanjo’s Personal Assistant when he was President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Ten members of his family came out to compete for the position. His name was ranked eighth.
