A video of the First Lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Remi Tinubu, and the Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Umo Eno, has surfaced online and, by extension, has attracted mixed reactions.
The clip shows the moment Remi Tinubu and Gov Umo Eno engage in an intense table tennis game in Akwa Ibom State.
First Lady Oluremi Tinubu visited Akwa Ibom State on March 7-8, 2026, to inaugurate the new Arise Senior Citizens Centre in Uyo and participate in the International Women’s Day celebration.
She praised Governor Umo Eno’s initiatives for the elderly, aligning with her Renewed Hope Initiative.
Recall that Akwa Ibom State Governor Umo Eno officially defected from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the All Progressives Congress (APC) on June 6, 2025.
He cited the need to align with the federal government for the state’s benefit, following consultations with stakeholders. He has since been recognized as the leader of the APC in the state.
