On Saturday night, a building fell in the Sango Police Barracks in Ibadan, the capital of Oyo State.
However, it was unclear how many people were trapped or whether there had been any casualties.
A nearby three-story residential building is claimed to be in front of the collapsed structure.
As of the time the article was submitted, Vanguard reports that all attempts to contact representatives from the National Emergency Management Agency, NEMA, Ibadan, and the Oyo State Police Command for comments on the incident had been ineffective.
Locals were reportedly combing the debris in an effort to rescue people.
