Shehu Sani, a former senator, has slammed Tolu Ogunlesi, one of President Muhammadu Buhari’s advisers.
Sani recommended Ogunlesi as a social media assistant in response to a job advertising on Twitter.
Ndi Kato, a political analyst, had written about the need for a social media manager for her boutique, and Sani stated that Tolu Ogunlesi would be available in June.
“I need someone to handle social media for my boutique,” she wrote. You should be able to take decent movies and photos and share them on a regular basis.”
Sani responded to Kato’s request by writing, “@toluogunlesi my Brother can do it by June.”
Ogunlesi is President Buhari’s Special Assistant on Digital and New Media.
Yakubu should not be held responsible for the Adamawa incident.
Meanwhile, Sani has stated that the incident that occurred during the Adamawa State gubernatorial elections should not be put on the chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Professor Mahmud Yakubu.
The former congressman stated in a post, said that the chairman of the electoral commission should not be condemned because the REC was accountable for flagrantly breaking the law.
“It is unfair to blame Professor Mahmud Yakubu for the unfortunate event that occurred in Adamawa State,” he said.
“The REC shamelessly violated the law, and the National Headquarters of INEC took swift action.”
“Prof Mahmud has done a commendable job in rescuing the situation, and thus rescuing our electoral system from Brigandage,” he said.
“The next step is to demand that the REC and other perpetrators be prosecuted.” Let us be objective and fair.”
