A Manhattan grand jury has indicted Donald Trump, making him the first former President of the United States to face official charges.

The charges will be made public in the coming days, as the grand jury’s imputation is anticipated to be revealed.

The Manhattan District Attorney’s Office confirmed Thursday evening that Trump’s attorney had been informed.

The office wants Trump, 76, to turn himself in to the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office “for arraignment on a Supreme Court indictment.”

Despite the fact that it is still under seal, prosecutors stated that guidance will be given once the arraignment date is set.

Trump is suspected of making hush payments to adult film actress Stormy Daniels, aka Stephanie Clifford, through his lawyer Michael Cohen.

The businessman reportedly paid Daniels not to go public with their affair claim. Trump has denied having a romantic connection.

In response to the charge, the former President stated that he was being persecuted by those who opposed making America great.

“This is the highest level of political persecution and election interference in history.”

“The radical left Democrats have been on a witch hunt to demolish the Make America Great Again movement,” Trump said.
