Forbes has chosen seven Nigerian celebrities among the 30 Under 30 newest self-made young African innovators.
According to reports, the names of the 2023 thirty young African innovators were published on the Forbes website.
There are 11 South Africans on the list, two each from Rwanda, Tanzania, and Ghana, and one each from Botswana, Namibia, Cameroon, Lesotho, Mauritius, and Kenya.
Temilade Openiyi, professionally known as Tems, and fast-rising vocalist Oyinkansola are among the Nigerians on the list. Sarah Aderibigbe, better known as Ayra Starr, former Big Brother Naija housemate Abiri Oluwabusayo, better known as Khloe, footballer Asisat Oshoala, tech entrepreneurs Hansel and Germain Ndu Okeke, and business innovator Blessing Joel Abeng are among those who have appeared on the show.
Forbes is a business magazine published in the United States by Integrated Whale Media Investments and the Forbes family, with an emphasis on business, technology, communications, science, politics, and law.
Khole wrote an appreciation note on her Instagram profile, expressing her delight at the recent accomplishment.
She wrote: “Words cannot express the sheer pride and joy I, Oluwabusayo Abiri, feel as I announce that I have been named one of Forbes’ 30 under 30 honorees!
“As a proud Nigerian, this prestigious recognition is a testament to the countless hours of hard work, perseverance, and passion I have poured into my career.
